EndpointRoutingMiddleware matches endpoints setup by EndpointMiddleware when migrate asp .net core 2.2 to 3.1

Dung Do Tien Nov 22 2020 987

While I am migrating the project from Asp.net core version 2.2 to 3.1. I got an error as below:

InvalidOperationException: EndpointRoutingMiddleware matches endpoints setup by EndpointMiddleware and so must be added to the request execution pipeline before EndpointMiddleware. Please add EndpointRoutingMiddleware by calling 'IApplicationBuilder.UseRouting' inside the call to 'Configure(...)' in the application startup code.

An error occurred while starting the application.

    Oh, this error occurs when in Configure() method of StartUp.cs you are using app.UseEndpoints() middleware but not use UseRouting() middle to help map endpoint route.

    You can copy the line code below and put it  ABOVE of app.UseEndpoints() middleware, your issue will be resolved.

    app.UseRouting();

    I think if you migrate version .net core you can refer document from Microsft.
